Begining of a Betrayal

Anyeth stood in front of the Di’han Tavern, inside it would look like any other tavern in any other town. But, like in so many towns Anto had been in, this tavern had a secret deep with in it.

Anto griped Ky’th under his cloak, so no one would see it; to the point he knew his knuckles were white. He took a deep breath and entered the door.

Inside it was as he would have like and he lessoned hi grip on the handle of his second sword. Ky’th was also made for Anto Anyeth, and unlike Syheadren, would glow an emerald green in the face of danger. Anto approached the keeper of the tavern and looked at him though the cloak hood; he released Ky’th completely and pulled back the hood. Then he placed his right hand, in a fist fashion so that the keep would see it.

On his right hand was a ring, silver in color, with a hue of red. The ring itself would mean nothing to the people in the tavern, except the barkeep, whom when he looked that the ring knew that Anto was a master archer, deadly to anyone in the range of his bow. This though was not the end of their exchange. Anto pulled back his sleeve to revel a silver bracelet. This intricate piece of jewelry meant that Anto was one of them. The barkeep looked up from the man’s wrist and nodded at him, this was the sign that Anto could pass back into the Office.

As Anto walked to where the north and west walls meet he noticed people where eyeing him, which made him nervous, as he walked into the corner where the shadow would envelop him allowing him to enter the Secret’s office, he debated just continuing though the other opening in the wall to the latrine.

Anyeth pulled back his cloak so he could press his right arm against the wall letting his bracelet open the door to the Secret’s he noticed Syheadren was glowing, this immediately brought his left hand under his cloak to the handle off Ky’th, which he would not draw, but did slip the leather strap off the hilt, just for a safe measure.

Making sure his cloak covered the works of his left hand he pressed his right arm to the wall and slipped into the darkness.

Kudos on the tactical use of jewelry. Always a fan!
