Morning Pathway

Anto broke camp well before the day broke, his previous night of tracking his foe led him an odd way to the town of Di’han and he did not want to enter it when he approached it.

He looked at where he had been the evening before, checking to make sure he had it all. Then checked his gear. It was all prepared, and with the sun rising to his left he began towards Di’han.

His feet falling in front of him, not thinking about where he was going, just going. His mind was on his swords, Syheadren was at his left hip, for easy access with his right hand, and Ky’th which was fast over his shoulder, with the sheath locking the hilt into it. To get Ky’th all he would have to do is reach his left hand to the small of his back, slip the strap off the right part of the hilt, and pull. His bow and quiver would be the only visible weapon he would allow. His swords were a dead give away to whom he was.

His dark cloak was over him and the hood was helping to keep the cold bite of the morning from him. As he walked toward the town his mind was on two things, how to quickly draw Syheadren and Ky’th should he need them, and getting to the Di’han office to talk to the supervisor there.

His feet lead him there allowing his mind to be on his other thoughts and as he approached the office, his mind lessened the thoughts of his swords, though not completely. With this job, his mind would never be completely off his swords.
